Are you researching or teaching about justice? Here are some tools prepared by the JUSTNORTH team for you to use and share.

JUSTICE DATABASE

The database is the final outcome of the project’s work with theories and frameworks of justice. It is a database of bibliographic materials organised in folders related to schools of justice philosophy (i.e. litertarianism, feminism) and applied approaches (i.e. environmental, energy) in justice. It aslo includes folders for grey literature and justice organisations. The database is intended to be a study and research resource for its users, both within JUSTNORTH and for those researching issues of justice beyond the project.

This dataset includes Access and Excel versions that can be downloaded from Zenodo. There is also a living version on Zotero.

Justice and Ethics Factsheet

The extensive literature on justice offers different ways of structuring, exsamining and assessing justice and injustice. This helps us understand both the concept of justice as well as justice in action.  By asking what forms of justice are at stake in a particular economic activity or political process, we are able to better understand the potential application of justice concepts within a specific activity.
